Cody Park Children’s Parade

The Irregulars played at Cody Park today. It was about 25 degrees and we decided it was to cold for our stringed instruments. Stu brought percussion instruments. This was our first time playing with all percussion. It was cold and we had fun.

We saw Santa and a Snow girl. The children had fun parading through the park with Santa even though it was cold. The park had hot chocolate, cookies and prizes for all the children who attended the event.

Something enjoyable about singing Christmas carols on a cold Sunday afternoon. Thanks for inviting us to play.

At the Mayor’s Tree Lighting in Cody Park

irregulars-cody-park-11-26The Irregulars played at the Mayor’s Tree lighting on Saturday, November 26, 2016. We had a great time playing for Santa and the people who came to see the tree lighting.  The weather was beautiful for the lighting and seemed to help the turn out. People where enjoying a variety of snacks from the concession stand including Hot Chocolate. We will be playing at Donna’s Free Christmas Dinner on December 9th at the Bethel Evangelical Free Church. Hope you will come join us and say hi on your way to a great Christmas dinner.
