On Friday, December 7, 2012 the Flat Rock Irregulars provided music for the people who attended Dona's Community Christmas Dinner at the Harvest Christian fellowship Church. We alternated sets with Ray Mullen. We were honored to perform both Christmas songs and our traditional Irish music. We closed our performance with our audience participation rendition of "The Old Dunn Cow." We had a great time and the food was wonderful. The Irregulars were mentioned in the written by Andrew Bottrell in the NP Telegraph. You'll spot some of the Irregulars at the dinner in this story from KNOP TV.
We had a great time playing for the 2012 Walk to End Alzheimer's on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at the Golden Spike Tower. We thank the North Plate Alzheimer's Association for inviting us to play. It was a beautiful day to be out making music.
The local Alzheimer's organization raised some where over $10,000. Congratulations to all involved.
